2020 Award Recognizes How Company Maintained Positive Culture During Pandemic
(Rancho Cucamonga, CA – February 1, 2021) Accent Computer Solutions Inc. is on Inland News Group’s Top Workplaces List for 2020. The award is based on responses to an anonymous survey that gathered input on employee experience and engagement.
To have come through 2020 with overwhelming positive employee sentiment is significant. Accent not only had to send employees home to work when COVID-19 shelter-at-home orders were announced, they also successfully supported clients and enabled remote work for over 150 companies and 14,500 endpoints.
“We’ve intentionally increased our communications with employees during the pandemic. None of us know how this is all going to play out, so we're being as transparent as possible,” said Derek Woolf, Chief Operations Officer. “We've kept the focus on how we were going to pull together and work through this as a team. It’s been our goal to keep every client and every employee.”
Being “Clued-in” ranked high as an engagement metric for Accent in the survey. Employees appreciate how transparent leadership is about the company’s goals, the methods they’re going to use to achieve them, and the performance of the company. At the same time, management is approachable and welcomes employee input.
“We use the EOS process, which involves everyone in bringing issues to the table and making things better for clients and employees,” said Marty Kaufman, President and Founder of Accent Computer Solutions. “We might not be able to implement everything that is presented but we’re sure going to listen. Their input matters and makes an impact on how we work.”
The Top Workplaces survey also uncovered that employees feel like the work they do is meaningful; that the company runs efficiently; and that they’re enabled to do their jobs by management.
